Ok, so I need to start this review off with a pretty important and relative statement. I don't really like Indian food that much.
I used to work at a really, really amazing Indian restaurant as a teen, and then years on, had a really, really horrible experience with a bad lot of Indian food and just really been off it since then.
I will order it maybe 1-2 times a year, whenever I seem to get this really random craving for it. This is important because I'm SUPER fussy.
With all this said;
This is some of the nicest Indian food I can remember having. And believe me when I say, that's a pretty big deal considering. It's fresh, it's flavoursome, it's incredibly good value for money, portion size vs. cost wise, and it's just amazing.
I, like a lot of white people, base a rating of an Indian restaurant on how good their garlic naan is. 10/10. The naan is perfect. Hot, freshly cooked, kudos to you guys at The Yarra.
I got a pretty standard variety, korma, tikka masala, butter chicken, etc.
Delicious. Absolutely delicious. Also, I'd like to point out that these guys actually cook the chicken / other meat absolutely perfectly, which is refreshing and great. Thank you!
All in all. For someone who is super fussy / off on Indian food due to past bad experiences... this was a game changer. These guys do absolutely incredible work, and I absolutely recommend it if you've got a craving. Even for people who like me are a bit off on Indian food. Worth it. These guys rock. Thanks :)
PS. The delivery drivers were wonderfully polite too. Goes a long way, thank you!
